The 30,000-square-foot Macon F. Brock, Jr. Hall houses the Departments of Biology, Environmental Studies and Chemistry. The building, part of RMC’s strong commitment to the sciences, includes state-of-the-art research laboratories, innovative teaching laboratories, faculty offices, and conference rooms. The exceptional facilities were once noted by the Princeton Review as some of the best in the country, and faculty often mentor students who conduct research using this cutting edge technology. Brock Hall is also one of our most sustainable buildings - it features energy- and water-saving technologies, including solar panels that power 15% of the building’s electricity needs.
